Too chilled to bother

Posted by Oliver on November 28th, 2007

Mum and Dad were looking at photos and videos of George when he was my age. Apparently he was crawling at this stage. I don’t see what the rush is. I’m quite happy sitting up and watching the world go by. I’m not too fussed about being put on my front either, I can hold [...]

Fun, frolics and accidents

Posted by Oliver on November 24th, 2007

Today after we had got back from Drusillas, we found Dad in the bath and he wasn’t very happy. He’d been turning on the hot tap with his good foot while laying in the bath and his foot had slipped and got scolded under the tap. As a consequence of this, he’d tried to jump [...]

Yesterday

Posted by Oliver on November 23rd, 2007

Mum and I left Dad at home alone and went to see Granny and Grandad in Reading. Dad would have come but he can’t leave his foot down for too long otherwise it starts hurting too much.

Cough

Posted by Oliver on November 23rd, 2007

My cough is going now (a bit) but I seem to have a very runny nose instead. Mummy and Daddy keep wiping it for me, but I’m worse than George when it comes to people interfering with my nose. I scream and scream, but promptly stop the moment they leave me alone again.

Hack hack

Posted by Oliver on November 22nd, 2007

I am currently in bed with Mum and Dad, I can’t sleep as I have a really nasty cough and a terrible cold. I like being nestled in between them both though, it’s more comfy than my cot and I feel a lot happier.

Odd Daddy

Posted by Oliver on November 15th, 2007

Daddy had his operation today, but rather than be put asleep while they did it, he stayed awake and watched it all going on on the big telly in the operating theatre. He has even kept the plate and screws that they removed!

Poor Mummy

Posted by Oliver on November 14th, 2007

I think Mummy is going to have a hard time with George and I over the next few weeks. Daddy is having his operation on his foot tomorrow and will be lazing around recovering for a fair while after that. I’ll try to behave myself as best I can, but I can’t speak for George…

Friday night was dad’s night

Posted by Oliver on November 12th, 2007

Mum might have gone away over the weekend (see George’s post for more details), but Friday night was definitely Dad’s night. He went up to Bluewater shopping centre with Uncle Ralph, and Ben and Amy to go to the Apple store and wait in a queue for a new iPhone. He’s been quite excited about [...]

Nursery

Posted by Oliver on November 8th, 2007

Mummy took me into see George at nursery yesterday. I got to see where I’m going to go come January. I must say, I was quite impressed with it, and of course George will always be there to look after me. I know that if he likes it, I will. And if they like George, [...]

Smiler

Posted by Oliver on November 6th, 2007

I can’t stop smiling nowadays, and when I do it seems to make everybody else smile. Then it gets silly and George makes me laugh, then the whole family is chuckling away. It’s very infectious, I bet if you came round, we’d have you in stitches…!

Family and friends

Posted by Oliver on November 4th, 2007

Uncle Ian and Alex came to see us for lunch today although I slept through most of it, I did get to see them while I was eating my lunch. Charlotte came over to see us all in the afternoon, she gave me lots of cuddles but she decided not to stay for tea. We [...]

A wedding

Posted by Oliver on November 3rd, 2007

Mummy went off to a wedding today so Dad had to look after us. I think Dad got more than he bargained for too, as Tom and Jed were over all day too. Mum had a great time and came back having had one too many glasses of wine. Still, it will be good to [...]

Jed

Posted by Oliver on November 2nd, 2007

Jed came round this evening, Mummy and Daddy babysat him while Tom and Debbie went to a party. We all watched in the night garden together. George seemed to latch on to Jed and sit with him all the time. I was quite happy sitting on Dad’s lap.
