Nappy changing
Posted by Oliver on July 31st, 2007Mummy makes me giggle so much when she’s changing my nappy. I think I’m much better behaved during nappy time than George. He tries to get up and run off. Why would anyone want to do that?

After the excitement of yesterday, I must have got quite tired, I slept in till gone 8 o’clock this morning.
We had a weekend in London this weekend. We all went to see Andy Rolloson on Saturday and then went to the Ben and Jerry’s Sundae on Clapham common. I got a bit annoyed with the noise and was a bit grumpy for some of the day! That said, all in all I enjoyed it. [...]
I think he might have Daddy’s, the amount he’s been drinking lately! oh, and try rearranging the letters of the title…
Here I am having a bit of a coo. [ Javascript required to view QuickTime movie, please turn it on and refresh this page ]
I’ve been making lots of noises, cooing and ga-ing, and all sorts. I feel I’m really growing up you know. I wonder when I’ll catch up with George…
This is getting silly, I sat on Dad’s lap all evening and while he gave me cuddles, he was reading his book. Not only that but Mum was in the bath reading another copy of the same book.
He still doesn’t seem to be here much in spirit, and Mum is doing her best to hang on, but Harry seems all to encompassing for them. I try my best to get their attention, but they just shhh me and I have to go back to sleep.
Outrageous. Mum and Dad ignored me tonight while I was sitting in my chair. They were too busy reading the new Harry Potter book. I kept shouting and they had to put their books down and pay me some attention. I mean really, who does this Harry bloke think he is.
What went wrong? I tried to blog, but gibberish came out. I blame Daddy. Back now though. I missed a day, hope D&J forgive me.

We all went to the Bugle today and piano Ian took a shine to me, he gave me so many hugs, it was lovely. He had a lovely black suit on, and if it were Mum or Dad I probably would have been sick on it, but as it was Ian and he liked me [...]
George has taken to hitting me on the head if I’m getting more attention than he. When this happens, I get a bit of respite from him as he has to sit on the naughty chair. So far I’ve done nothing so bad that I am required to do that. I wonder when I will…
I’ve hardly seen him all day, he went to work and then spent the evening sorting out drains and the pond. I had fun anyway as Ness and Monty came over. George was busy playing out in the garden with Monty which meant I got lots of attention from Mum and Ness. Ness was making [...]
My health visitor Eleanor came to see Mummy and I today. She’s especially lovely because she thinks I am! She says I have an extensive repertoire for a young one like myself. Good eh!
Mummy was up in the garden quite a bit today mowing the lawn at the front and back and doing weeding and such like. I wouldn’t have minded if I could have slept through it, but I’m not feeling my best and I needed cuddles. I think I might be beginning to teethe as I [...]
We went to a BBQ today and had a lovely time. We also went to the Bugle, my first time there, and Daddy said they must have made it look especially nice because they knew I’d be coming. It’s been painted inside and has some snazzy new blinds up at the windows (much like the [...]
I think I’m feeling a bit better today, although we all think that Dad forgot to put my Gaviscon in my milk today because it didn’t look quite the same and I was a bit sick afterwards. You can’t tell from the taste of the milk so we really don’t know. George is not at [...]
I’m not feeling too great at the moment. I’ve been quite sick all day. Not too bad, but enough to make Dad have to change his top and trousers…oops! Still, Mum says he doesn’t change his clothes often enough so I think I did her a favour!
Wow, I’ve got big enough to get myself a new grown up header picture. Old one here.
George went to nursery and Dad went to work, just left Mum and I. I don’t mind but I kind of liked them both being around me all last week. Was a proper family holiday.
Ok, so it doesn’t have an apostrophe in the name, but it’s still mine…
I’m still not myself you know. I’ve got quite a sniffle and I’ve had better days! That said, it was nice to be back home and relax in my bouncy chair. One of the good things about being home is that George is too busy playing in the garden to jump on me and wake [...]
Here we are, all home safe and sound. We had a lovely time.
I’m three months old today, that’s gone very quickly.
We’re getting packed up tonight to leave first thing tomorrow. I hope Gregg has been looking after our house while we’ve been away. We’ve had a really good time here. Thank you Great Auntie Pat and Great Uncle Brian for letting us stay here x
I’ve got a temperature. Dad gave m some calpol because I was quite hot and grumpy. I feel a lot better now. Didn’t do much today because it was raining. Just went to a pub for a nice spot of lunch.
Today we all went to the Mumbles, had a lovely walk (well, more of a push for me) and a nice lunch and then home again via the shops. All very pedestrian and very holiday like!
I realise that the formatting of these blog entries is going a little wrong.Apologies, I will sort it all out later. UPDATE: All sorted now.
I just couldn’t stop sleeping today, and when I wasn’t sleeping I was a bit sick! I feel alright, but Mum was carrying me in a sling/pouch thingy and I think it upset my tummy a bit! I think I missed out on things today as everyone seemed shattered when we got home.
